Land Training Sundays

Club 1,2,3 5.00 – 5:40: Studio LW
Juniors 5.50 – 6.30: Studio/Poolside LW

Club 3 5.55 – 6:15 Stretching: Poolside GM

Club 3 you will be taken through a mobility and stretching protocol that you will adhere to at all times and will become part of your pre training and competition prep, it is hopeful this will be rolled out to the other groups within your Land Training sessions.  At present there isn’t enough focus or attention paid to the development of range of movement or functional strength .

You will have a break from functional LT from 5:40 to 5:55 where I expect you to hydrate and maybe take a small pre training snack/supplement

Land Training Tuesdays - for strength and conditioning (extra cost)

Club 2,3 and Masters: 6:30-7:30 - Community Room GM

Tuesday strength and conditioning is an additional and optional training session for those that wish to gain more specific conditioning and increase their number of dry land training hours. It is to work in conjunction with Sunday land training. Tuesday’s sessions will include plyometric, and explosive power and strength work along with mental preparations, and injury prevention. There is an additional cost as this is an extra session, it’s a way we can improve training for those that want more, yet not increase cost to others. Any profits will go to the club and towards equipment etc, available at present to the swimmers in  Club 2,3 and Masters are welcome to the session.
